Once you have expressed interest in serving with NET Ministries, you will receive an email or phone call from the NET Uganda Recruiting Department followed by an emailed application form. After you fill that in with a picture of yourself, you can email it back to the Recruiting Department. Your 2 references will need to email their filled in forms to the Recruiting Department directly, as we cannot receive references via you. Once your application is in, one of our recruiters will get in touch with you and book in an interview. If you can’t come to Masaka, it will be over Skype, whatsApp or Facetime, so please do send your username details to us! Post interview: If we have both of your references, you can expect a decision to be made within 1 week. The relevant supervisory staff will discern your application to serve with us and will call or email you and inform you of the decision. If you are accepted, you will then receive all of the relevant information required to start preparing to join us on training and your fundraising efforts for your missionary year.
Once you have sent in an application form a staff member will book a time for an interview with you. The interview will be conducted with 2 staff members who will go ask you some questions to get a better picture of who you are and if you are called to serve with NET. The interview can be anywhere from 45 mins – 1 hour and 30 mins. The interview is designed to help us discern your application. It can be daunting to be interviewed but know that every staff member has been through the process themselves and they just want to get to know you.
NET Ministries Uganda considers non-married, practicing Catholics between the ages of 20-30. If you meet this criterion, and you have an interest in the mission and serving the church or you think NET might be something you want to do then get in touch with us. http://netug.org/index.php/contact-us/
You may send in your application as early as June 1st for application of the following NET year. If you apply earlier than this, you may be asked to re-apply closer to the date. This is because much can happen in a person’s life in one year and we need the most up-to-date information about our applicants as possible. If you have any questions about this you can contact our Recruiting Coordinator. firstname.lastname@example.org
